The Challenge
How can you really know what travellers are feeling as they explore a destination — beyond what they say in a survey?
The Experiment
Working with neuroscientists, five families wore wireless brain-sensing (EEG) headsets as they discovered the city’s multicultural neighbourhoods, its hawker food scene, its serene ‘City in a Garden’ attractions and its theme parks.
The Method
Brain activity was mapped in real time to common emotions — engagement, stress, interest, excitement and relaxation — turning how each place felt into data.
The Result
A first-of-its-kind travel guide curated by emotions: an interactive map that helps future travellers plan their ideal trip around their needs, ages and interests.
